Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As we are all aware, our country is facing a serious pandemic that affects all of us. Crowninshield Management has recognized that we must take precautionary measures for our employees and for you, our valued partners. Here are some things you need to know.

Currently, our main office will remain open for employees only. Our policy to respond to all communications (calls, emails, etc.) by the next business day will still be in effect.

Financial and management reporting, fulfilling requests for documents such as 6Ds, and online access to information will continue.

Our maintenance staff will perform their regular duties, taking extra precautions. Furthermore, in an abundance of caution, maintenance staff has been instructed to practice social distancing and to enter units only during an emergency (fire, flood, life safety) for the time being.

In addition, we are encouraging any employee who is sick to stay home. We have enabled work from home capabilities for our property managers in the event that things worsen. And, we have sanitized our main office and we encourage site offices to do the same.

Here are some recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to protect yourself and others from contracting and/or spreading the COVID-19 virus:

“Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20
seconds.”

“If soap & water is not available, use hand sanitizer.”

“Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unclean hands.”

“Avoid close contact with others (practice social distancing).”

“Stay home if you are sick.”

“Clean and disinfect frequently-touched surfaces daily (doorknobs, light switches, phones, keyboards, etc.).”

These are unprecedented circumstances but we will work to get through this. We are committed to provide essential services with minimal disruption.
